Early on, while still very young, people are read to aloud. Then – at some point in time – they proudly hold their first picture-books in their hands. You touch it, feel it and smell it. You read the book title ceremoniously and open it to look at the first page. Later everybody has their favourite books, novels, cookbooks or coffee-table books. Readers recognise their favourite books just by looking at their spines on the bookshelf.
Often hardcovers and lavish special formats take a special place in our libraries. And the more exceptional the format, the more likely it is one of the works of the bookbindery Terbeck. Being at home with their books in the whole world, this is the endeavour of the bookbindery Terbeck.
